We now have some Satellite photos of our field. Here is our field on Rosamond Lakebed. The photo was taken in 1999. Please note the vehicle tracks going from Rosamond Blvd at the bottom of the photo to the flying site. This is the reason a single access point was established to limit damage to the lakebed surface.  This is our only club insured field.  Below is a view of the field from space from Google Maps.

Licensing for FPV pilots

The Academy of Model Aeronautics offers guidance regarding the legality and licensing requirements pertaining to flying FPV (First-Person-View). Please read this statement to ensure that you are abiding by FCC policies. FPV operations are covered by AMA's liability insurance, but there are some restrictions.

Club meetings are held the second Wednesday 6:30 pm at Fox Field on 45th West and Ave G in the main lobby,each month.  Please join us and bring your ideas.  It’s our club and we need everyone to  get involved.  We are always looking for interesting articles for the newsletter so please share your thoughts.
